Supporting Women in Tech 

Shelly’s goal is to create a more inclusive and diverse tech industry where women have equal opportunities to succeed and make a positive impact. As a mentor to many young women, she helps women navigate the challenges of the tech industry and develop their leadership skills. By promoting opportunities for women of color, her aim is to increase diversity in the tech industry and ensure that a wider range of perspectives and experiences are represented.

Building Community

Building community is a vital aspect of our society and has a profound impact on our well-being and happiness. It is through community that we find a sense of belonging, support, and connection with others. As part of the executive leadership team with TEDxWhistler and TEDxVancouver, Shelly worked with the community to host several TEDx Events bringing together diverse thought leaders and created a platform for individuals to share their ideas.
